THE OPPORTUNITY

Location: Remote, but HQ is in San Francisco

About Us: At Bevalty, we are pioneering the alcoholic beverage industry with a new, digital loyalty rewards program. Our goal is to help brands build compelling loyalty programs that facilitate direct and rewarding relationships with their consumers (never been done before at scale) and to achieve that, we are building our product from the ground up. The company will scale through a SaaS model (B2B) and get consumer distribution through brand relationships (B2B2C), making it a uniquely scalable business, compared to pure D2C.

We are looking for a seasoned Product Manager who thrives in fast-paced environments, has some experience in building blockchain token-based offerings, understands the unique challenges and opportunities of a fresh code base, and has a proven track record of directly managing engineers.

Position Overview: We’re looking for an individual UI/UX designer or agency that has amply experience designing user flows for mobile web. The core experience you’ll design will be a the consumer experience of scanning a real-world object (bottle or QR code) then going through an onboarding flow, claiming tokens, points, redemption, etc.

What You’ll Be Working On

We’re looking for an experienced UX / design person who can work directly with the founder off the PRD and design this new UX from scratch. It is an excellent opportunity to build a compelling consumer experience that will have ample distribution.

Requirements:

• intimate understanding of the capabilities and limitations of mobile UX via a mobile web browser. We’ll not initially be building a native mobile application so we need to build an excellent experience in the browser.
• Experience building sophisticated / clean / efficient / delightful mobile user interfaces that utilize the camera to scan real-world objects / QR codes.
• experience talking to / interviewing users to understand their impression / ability to navigate your UX
  
  

The bulk of this design work will be in the first couple months of the engagement, then we can move to smaller UI iterations as we gather user feedback.
