Job Description

Primary Objective of Position:
  • Draw up ITP for FAT.
  • Planning & Adjustment of inspection schedule
  • Factory Acceptance Test for quality assurance to customers (Shipyard / Owner / Class).
  • Quality management and document control for big & complex project.
  • Manage and maintain the FAT records, certifications, and performance reports of our products.
  • Analyse all relevant FAT data and reporting statistically.

Responsibilities:

Draw up and get approval ITP from shipyard and/or ship-owner
  • Draw up and retain ITP for commercial vessel.
  • Submit ITP and get approval from shipyard and ship-owner.

Planning & Adjustment of inspection schedule
  • Make the plan of FAT based on production plan.
  • Change the inspection schedule when customer & production require

Factory Acceptance Test
  • Make the plan of FAT based on production plan.
  • Check the relevant documents with test reports, certificates.
  • Submit FAT application to shipyard and classification society through their recommended web site.
  • Coordinate the schedule according to the customer’s request.
  • Execute FAT according to ITP & procedure(s).
  • Have a meeting after FAT with customer(s) and discuss comment(s), if any.
  • Inform requirement(s) and/or comment(s) to the concerned team in order to solve it.
  • Notify the customer that requirement(s) and/or comment(s) are reflected after internal self-nspection.

Quality management and document control for big & complex project.
  • Collaborate with PM
  • Perform special inspections according to ITP.
  • The rest process is the same as other merchant ships

Manage and maintain the FAT records, certifications, and performance reports of our products.
  • Inspection report of Customer (FAT) and Class inspection
  • Certificate of systems (project by project)
  • Various certificates for conducting inspections.
  • Final Self-Inspection

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Understanding for VRC & CMS/TLG system
  • Experience of inspection work
  • Ability to understand drawing for customer inspection.
  • MS office, Acrobat skill
  • Communication skill with customer
  • English skill
